The TIANQU Visuo XS809W

Here is another DJI Mavic clone quad-copter. Comes in two colours i.e. black or grey. I thought it looked great in black with the gold markings on it. Its batteries are proprietary and provides about 10 to 11 minutes of flight. Its a beginner quad with some fancy advance modes to help beginners to fly it. It has auto take off and land, altitude hold, return to home, headless mode and do flips. But these facilities are dependent on the model you procure. It does not have a micro SD card on the drone, which means that all your videos and photos will be saved on your smartphone. It also comes with three speeds to fly it.Its priced at RM366.60 on 11 Street. Check out the video and Fly Safe

Bought my DJI Mavic Pro

Christmas came early for me. Yes, folks I decided to treat myself and bought myself a DJI Mavic Pro. I found a dealer, DronesKaki, who seemed to offer a fantastic deal with a lot of added gifts. So called him up and to my surprise, he informed me that if I were to purchase it through 11Street,  I would enjoy even better discounts from his store. True enough for RM5695.00 I got a Fly More Combo deal.

They even offer you a 0% interest free instalment plan on your credit card.  The details of the outlet is as follows:

Quickly did an unboxing video (in Malay since there is so many other videos in English). Will soon post what its like flying it once I get over the excitement of owning a DJI Mavic Pro. 😅  Fly Safe

DJI at Low Yat Plaza

Went to Low Yat to check out what is new when I was surprised to see a number of camera shops have started selling drones. Most of the quad-copters being sold were the DJI models. You could get either the Phantom 4 Pro or the Mavic Pro. That’s when I came across the DJI store on the ground floor (Lot No: G-018). It is located on your right as you enter from the Imbi Plaza/Sg Wang entrance. I met Vick Chee who was very friendly and helpful. They seemed well stocked with the DJI Phantom 4 Pro and the Mavic Pro as well as other DJI accessories. He informed me that they also carried out limited repairs there as well. Vick can be contacted at +60177786487

MARCH DJI Outlet

I was in Bandar Bahru Puchong the other day when I decided to check out an outlet that deals with quad-copters nearby. The place is called MARCH located on Setiawalk Puchong. They only seem to deal with DJI products and don’t seem to have any quad-copters that can be considered as starter drones. I found the sales staff to be very friendly and eager to help with your enquiries. They have the Phantom series, Mavic and Inspire. They also carry out repair works but any problems with gimbals are sent to Hong Kong and takes about a month. They also give briefings to new buyers on how to operate and fly their purchase of quad-copters.They are located at the following address:
Block J2, 3rd Floor,Setiawalk, Persiaran Wawasan, Pusat Bandar Puchong, Selangor
47160 Puchong
